Victoria Falls Bridge Swing
Victoria Falls Bridge Swing
Your harness is attached to a rope, the rope is attached to the middle of a cable that runs across the full width of the gorge.
Once you are all set, you stand on a platform on the edge of the Victoria Falls bridge, say a quick prayer and jump off - How crazy is that, you jump off and free fall for about 0m straight towards the rocks and river below, then as the rope becomes taught you will start to arc and thankfully swing away from the river you were hurtling towards fractions of a seconds ago. Although it looks like the most insane thing to do, everyone who does it, is on such a high afterwards.
With the bridge swing, you can go at it alone, or you can do it with a partner and scream together as you take the 80 meter plunge...then once you've swung through the gorge, take in the sight of the Batoka gorge and the mighty Zambezi river below while you both get pulled up to the Victoria Falls Bridge.
PLEASE NOTE: This activity is NOT suitable for persons who are either pregnant, epileptic, hypertensive or have a previous back injury.

White Water Rafting Victoria Falls
White Water Rafting Victoria Falls
The white water rafting on the Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls is commonly recognised as the best and biggest grade 5 white water rafting in the World.
Begin your adrenalin white water rafting experience in the "boiling pot" directly below the Victoria Falls and navigate your way through infamous rapids, whose names were conjured to instil fear and trepidation into would-be rafters, “The Overland Truck-eater”, “The Mother”, “Gnashing Jaws of Death” and the final grade 5 rapid of the day “Oblivion”. The experienced rafting guides will steer you on an unforgettable ride through the formidable rapids of the mighty Zambezi River.
Victoria Falls White Water Rafting has two different seasons. This is due to the water level of the Zambezi River. Low water rafting commences between the months of August and December. These are the best times of year to raft as you begin your journey from the boiling pot which is situated directly below the Victoria Falls. As the water level drops, the rapids become more intense. During low water season you will negotiate rapids number 1 to 19. Many of these rapids are Grade 5.
Victoria Falls high water rafting takes place between Jan – Feb and June – July. As the water level rises high water rafting begins. As the water is gushing down the Victoria Falls so intensely during these months it is impossible to start at rapid number 1. The high water rafting begins 10 km downstream of the Victoria Falls at rapid number 11 and will finish at rapid number 23.
Please note that White Water Rafting usually closes from the beginning of April until approximately the beginning of June depending on high water levels.

The Boma - Dinner & Drum Show
The Boma - Dinner & Drum Show
The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, which to date more than one million people have enjoyed, has come a long way since its humble beginnings a quarter of a century ago.
The Boma was developed after the Lokuthula Lodges were built in 1992, to cater for guests staying at the lodges. As the accommodation was deemed to be out of town, a restaurant was required by Resort Condominium International so that Lokuthula Lodges could obtain affiliation to the largest timeshare network in the world.
As the developers of Lokuthula could not afford to build a restaurant, they instead just built a kitchen and called it a ‘bush’ restaurant. It was a 60-seater eatery and in the beginning the waiters were also the entertainers.
The restaurant was a failure due to the constant weather changes. On a visit to a friend who was re-doing her roof with thatch, one of the developers offered her a job to come up to Victoria Falls and build The Boma restaurant, which she did.
Initially, the restaurant was called The Boma – Place of Eating, but it was re-branded in 2016 to The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show to include the unique entertainment element that has made the experience a Victoria Falls highlight.
The re-branding included a review of the food offering, entertainment, uniforms and décor. The changes have made The Boma more contemporary, without losing its traditional feel.
In 2019 The Boma underwent another major refurbishment which saw the main kitchen and cookhouse rebuilt, new equipment installed and structural changes made to the serving areas to better accommodate the larger volumes of guests.
In addition its décor was redone to capture the style of the traditional Zimbabwean cooking hut.
