The most famous and important district in Hanoi is Ba Dinh district where government offices are located and the Hon Kiem district is considered as the business center and the main tourist destination of the city.
One of the most common places in Hanoi is roads filled with scooters, bicycles and cars, which rotate like a school of fish for pedestrians. Then there are many sidewalk vendors and people just go out for a walk and the popular Old Quarter is no exception, so walking in this district is different from leisurely walking in the park. Visitors have no choice but to face the traffic in the local style, but must experience exploring the historic area and is really worth it.

Originally the university accepted only aristocrats, nobles, and members of the royal family as students, which eventually opened its doors to the brightly accepted Commoners'. Successful graduates had their names engraved on a stone staircase that can be found on top of the stone turtle.
Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple in Hanoi
Hon Kiem Lake in Hanoi attracts tourists and locals who want to get away from the noise and frenetic pace of the city. Calm and calm, the lake surrounded Ngoc Son Temple, a pagoda sitting in the center on a small island.
The temple attracts many visitors and was built in the memory of the 13th century military leader Tran Hung Dao who was famous for his bravery in the fight against the Yuan Dynasty.
Tributes are also paid to the scholar Van Xuong and Confucian master Nguyen Van Sieu. The island on which the temple is built is known as Jade Island and can be reached by the iconic Hutch Bridge or Rising Sun Bridge, an attractive red-colored wooden bridge of classical Vietnamese design. The pagoda is also protected by two tower posts adorned with Chinese writings. The lake and the temple are probably the most famous places in Hanoi city with a great place to relax and enjoy the view, and for locals to sit and watch.
