Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Zurich - Spiez

    Your tour begins as with your Swiss Rail pass you take a train to Spiez.  A small town full of charm, Spiez is located in the heart of Switzerland on the banks of the deep-blue Lake Thun. In my opinion, this fairytale Swiss town is a real hidden gem in Switzerland.
    Surrounded by picturesque mountains, Spiez offers breathtaking views and a serene environment. I think it’s the perfect destination for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

    Arrive and check into the Hotel. Later take Lake Thun Cruise (Free with Swiss Rail Pass), here you can opt to visit St. Beatus Caves during the cruise.  Return back and Overnight in Spiez

  • Day 2 :Spiez - Altesch Glacier - Spiez

    After morning breakfast, today depart to see the longest glacier in the Alps - the Great Aletsch Glacier. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views. Soak up the stunning scenery at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the full length and vastness of the Great Aletsch Glacier in all its glory from the viewing platform. Turn around and get a view of the higher peaks and most famous mountains of Switzerland. Observe the Mönch, the Eiger, the Jungfrau, the Wannenhorn, and the Finsteraarhorn. To the west of the area, admire the Weisshorn, the Mischabel group with the Dom, and the Matterhorn itself form a breathtaking 360° panorama. Return back and Overnight in Spiez

  • Day 3 :Spiez - Brienzer Rothorn - Spiez

    Today Enjoy a nostalgic steam train experience on the rack-and-pinion railway. The steam locomotive and its red carriages will transport you through the verdant forests and on towards the summit. The longer the trip takes, the more breathtaking the views become. Rothorn Kulm summit station in just over an hour. The steam locomotive with its red carriages puffs its way up the mountain, passing through green forests and you will enjoy an incredible panorama of the surrounding mountains and turquoise-coloured Lake Brienz. The panoramic view from the summit is unforgettable.

    Later, Experience, Jetboat ride, 360° turns and excitement on the waters of Lake Brienzboat trip takes you from Bönigen to the imposing Giessbach Falls.. Marvel at the stunning mountain scenery and the breathtaking natural beauty during the tour. Overnight stay in this charming lakeside town of Spiez.

  • Day 4 :Spiez to Million Star Hotel

    Today depart to check in to the Million Stars Hotel, the most exciting hotel you’ll find in Switzerland!   • Day 5 :Million Star Hotel to Andermatt

    Today, check out and depart for Andermatt.

    Today you can opt to visit Oberalp Pass, which is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps connecting the cantons of Graubünden and Uri between Disentis/Mustér and Andermatt.

    Visit the former front light from Hook of Holland, which was a 14-m-high lighthouse that shone out steadily for 70 years from the mouth of the Rhine at the other end of the river, now stands as a herald for the source of the Rhine on the Oberalp Pass. Overnight in Andermatt

  • Day 6 :Andermatt - Lugano & Gandria - Andermatt

    Today, Escape the bustling city center with by a lake cruise from Lugano  through olive groves to the outlying village of Gandria. Stroll the Sentierodell'Olivo, taking in views of the almost Mediterranean landscape . Explore the streets of Gandria, then relax as a boat transports you across the lake, back to Lugano.

    Evening explore the Lugano Old town. Overnight in Lugano

    Later return back to the Hotel. Overnight in Andermatt.

  • Day 7 :Andermatt - Zurich

    Today visit Uetliberg at 2,850 feet above sea level. The mountain offers an impressive panoramic view of the city, the lake and the Alps.

    In summer, there’s plenty to discover on well-marked hiking routes, a mountain bike route, and on the Planet Trail from Uetliberg to Felsenegg (Adliswil) takes you on a fascinating tour through a model of their solar system. In the winter, the hiking trails to the summit are converted into sledding runs here.

    Return back to Zurich, Explore the bahnofstrasse. Overnight in Zurich

Jetboat Ride, Brienz

Adventure on Lake Brienz begins at the jetty in Bönigen. After a short introduction, the Jet Port staff will provide you with a brief introduction and then prepare you for the Jetboat Tour.
