Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Zurich - Engelberg
Arrive at Zurich International Airport. Transfer yourself to the station located on the airport. With your your Swiss Rail Pass and take a train to Engelberg. Engelberg is simply the ultimate place for unique mountain experiences, for that perfect moment of happiness that feels big and fascinates you like no other. It satisfies the longing to break out of everyday life, to feel yourself and to absorb the fascination of an immense natural arena. Engelberg is located in a wide mountain valley at an altitude of around 1000 meters Titlis mountain at 3,239 meters, with its glacier, is towering over the surrounding peaks. Arrive and Check in to your apartment. Later day is free at leisure. Overnight in Engelberg.
- Day 2 :Engelberg - Mt. Titlis - Engelberg
In the morning you will be proceed on you own to the Mt. Titlis cable car station and exchange your voucher. Start your Fun filled day by taking cable car to go up to Mt. Titlis - 3020 meters above the sea level. Your Mt. Titlis ticket also includes the Ice Flyer to take you up to the Glacier Park where you can enjoy snow activities on the top.Later depart back to Engelberg and depart to Lucerne by late afternoon. . (Free With Your Swiss Rail Pass). Return back and overnight in Engelberg.
- Day 3 :Engelberg - Mt. Jungfraujoch - Engelberg
In the morning, proceed to the Engelberg station to board a train to Interlaken Ost station. Take a train to Grindelwald terminal to take an Eiger express cable car and a cog wheel train up to Mt. Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe. A world of eternal ice and snow, located at 3454 meters. Alpine sensation¬ A 360° cinema has been built in the Sphinx Hall. A film carries visitors into the High Alpine world surrounding the Jungfraujoch. Visit the Ice Palace and marvel at some of the unique Ice Sculptures and the Sphinx Terrace to have an amazing view of Jungfrau region. Return back to Interlaken. Explore Interlaken on foot, Interlaken is mainly a vacation destination and resort, and features many shops for typical Swiss goods such as watches, chocolates and Swiss souvenirs. The Höheweg promenade connects Interlaken West with Interlaken East. Strolling alongside a large park and with the famous Jungfrau mountain range as the backdrop you will quickly understand why it has been popular for such a long time Take a return train to Engelberg. Overnight in Engelberg.
- Day 4 :Engelberg - Mt. Rigi - Bern - Engelberg
Today you can opt to visit Mt.Rigi. Mount Rigi is known as ‘Queen of Mountains’ is very easy access from Lucerne (Free with Swiss Rail Pass). Take a 60 Minute Boat Ride and 30 Minute Cogwheel train ride up to the Summit where you can have a beautiful panoramic view of Alps, looking out over 13 lakes across all Central Switzerland. Later take a train to Bern, Enjoy the City of Bern by walk. The city still retains its old world charm in The Clock Tower, the Parliament Buildings, Market Gasse and Gothic Fountains. Later transfer back to Engelberg Hotel. Overnight in Engelberg.
- Day 5 :Engelberg - Lugano - Engelberg
Today take a day trip to the southern part of Switzerland, Lugano. A beautiful and charming city that offers a lot to see and do. With its stunning scenery, picturesque lakeside promenade, vibrant cultural scene, and delicious cuisine, Lugano has something for you, for sure.
Some of the top attractions in Lugano include the historic Old Town, the famous Parco Civico, the stunning Villa del Balbianello, and the beautiful Lake Lugano. You can take a scenic boat tour of the lake to soak in the breathtaking views. You can opt to take the funicular to Monte San Salvatore & much more. Return back and Overnight in Engelberg.

- Day 6 :Engelberg - Zurich
After breakfast, check out from Engelberg and take a train to Zurich. The city is situated at the northern tip of Lake Zurich and on the Limmat river. Whether for a coffee or beer at a waterfront restaurant or a cruise on Lake Zurich with views of the Alps: the city is virtually unrivalled when it comes to combining cosmopolitan flair, nature and indulgence. Arrive at Zurich, and check in to the hotel. Today visit Lindt Chocolate Factory. The Lindt Home of Chocolate is a milestone in Swiss chocolate history and great experience for chocolate fans around the globe. Overnight in Zurich.
- Day 7 :Zurich
Today morning after breakfast, take a train to Schaffhausen arrive and take post bus to Rhine Falls - the largest falls in Europe. Take an optional boat ride (summer only, additional costs) close to the falls. Admire panoramic views, walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power.Later evening, enjoy shopping at Bahnhofstrasse. Return back to Hotel and Overnight in Zurich.

Glacier Cave
Nestled ten meters below the surface of the glacier at Titlis station, Glacier Cave is a 150-meter-long walking path of ice in cave-like structure. Right from the walkway to the overarching ceiling and even the sculptures are all of ice – as old as is 5,000 years. The mystical cave is covered in a soothing blue mood light, and temperature always remains at a chilly -1.5-degrees Celcius, the atmosphere inside is so cold that a wave of clouds appear when you breathe. One of them says that it is named after the famous ruler Pontius Pilate who is believed to be buried there. Among the many exciting things that you will experience is the steepest cogwheel train in the world! Pilatus is located very close to Lucerne can be easily accessed by train, boat or bus. One of the most sought after activities is the toboggan run in Frakmuntegg. Get your adrenaline pumping as you zip through steep curves on this 1350 meter run which makes it the longest summer toboggan run in Switzerland. Children below 2 years are not allowed.
