Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Zurich –Lucerne
Arrive at Zurich International Airport. Transfer yourself to the station located on the airport. With your Swiss Rail Pass and take a train to Lucerne. Arrive and Check in to your Apartment. Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Its attractive shopping offer, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, the town is a destination for many. Later day is free at leisure or opt to discover the city of Lucerne in just 40 minutes on the old-style blue City Train. With comfortable seating with auxiliary heating and brief information via headphones in 16 languages, this tour is a wonderful experience in all weathers. The City Train takes you to the tourist highlights of the city center as you learn a great deal about the fascinating history of Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.
- Day 2 :Lucerne – Mt. Titlis & Bern – Lucerne
In the morning, take a train to Engel berg to proceed on you own to the Mt. Titlis cable car station and exchange your voucher.Start your Fun filled day by taking cable car to go up to Mt. Titlis - 3020 meters above the sea level. Your Mt. Titlis ticket also includes the Ice Flyer to take you up to the Glacier Park where you can enjoy snow activities on the top. Later back to Engel berg and depart to Lucerne by late afternoon. Later take a train to Bern, Enjoy the City of Bern by walk. The city still retains its old world charm in The Clock Tower, the Parliament Buildings, Market Gasse and Gothic Fountains.
Later Return back and overnight in Lucerne.
- Day 3 :Lucerne – Mt. Jungfraujoch & Interlaken – Lucerne
In the morning, you will be proceed on you own to the station to board a train to Interlaken Ost station. Take a train to Grindelwald terminal to take an Eiger express cable car and a cog wheel train up to Mt. Jung fraujoch – Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe. A world of eternal ice and snow, located at 3454 meters. Alpine sensation¬ A 360° cinema has been built in the Sphinx Hall. A film carries visitors into the High Alpine world surrounding the Jung fraujoch. Visit the Ice Palace and marvel at some of the unique Ice Sculptures and the Sphinx Terrace to have an amazing view of Jungfrau region. You can opt to enjoy Lunch on Top. Return back to Interlaken. In the evening stroll around the town. Take a return train to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.
- Day 4 :Lucerne – Stanserhorn – Hammestschwand Lift- Lucerne
After breakfast, depart to visit Mt. Stanserhorn. The CabriO” cable car here, is the world’s first cable car with a roofless upper deck. The comfortable double-decker is the very latest in cable car technology. You can enjoy 360° panoramic views as well as the fresh mountain air. , having one of its kind experience. You can then, opt to ride on the highest outdoor lift in Europe, The Hammetschwand Lift, at 1,132 metres, your route starts at the cliff walk "Felsenweg" and winds around the mountain edge with supreme views on Lake Lucerne. At the end of your journey, you will reach the bottom of the Hammetschwand Lift. Return back to your Hotel . Overnight in Lucerne.
- Day 5 :Lucerne – Lugano & Monte San Salvatore- Lucerne
Today take a day trip to the southern part of Switzerland, Lugano. A beautiful and charming city that offers a lot to see and do. With its stunning scenery, picturesque lakeside promenade, vibrant cultural scene, and delicious cuisine, Lugano has something for you, for sure, Some of the top attractions in Lugano include the historic Old Town, the famous Parco Civico, the stunning Villa del Balbianello, and the beautiful Lake Lugano. You can take a scenic boat tour of the lake to soak in the breathtaking views. You can opt to take the funicular to Monte San Salvatore & much more. Return back and Overnight in Lucerne.
- Day 6 :Lucerne – Zurich
After breakfast, check out Lucerne and take a train to Zurich. The city is situated at the northern tip of Lake Zurich and on the Limmat river. Whether for a coffee or beer at a waterfront restaurant or a cruise on Lake Zurich with views of the Alps: the city is virtually unrivalled when it comes to combining cosmopolitan flair, nature and indulgence. Arrive at Zurich, and check in to the hotel. Today visit Lindt Chocolate Factory. The Lindt Home of Chocolate is a milestone in Swiss chocolate history and great experience for chocolate fans around the globe. Overnight in Zurich.
- Day 7 :Zurich
Today morning after breakfast, take a train to Schaffhausen arrive and take post bus to Rhine Falls - the largest falls in Europe. Take an optional boat ride (summer only, additional costs) close to the falls. Admire panoramic views, walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power. Later evening, enjoy shopping at Bahnhofstrasse. Return back to Hotel and Overnight in Zurich.
