Seal Island Cruise
Seal Island, located near Cape Town, in South Africa is a popular destination amongst the tourists. The island is so named because of the great number of Cape fur seals that occupy it. It is 5 acres in area and home to approx 64,000 cape fur seals.The boat ride is quite astonishing with thanks to some splendid views of the mountains it offers. 45 minutes to the boat ride and you enter a huge seal colony which houses this species in plenty. The boat ride can get rough at times because of heavy wind. Do not forget to carry your jackets on this trip, as it often gets windy.

Shark Cage Diving

The shark cage dive takes place out at Dyer Island, roughly 15 minutes by boat from Gansbaai. The island is home to a colony of over 50 000 Cape Fur Seals – the white shark’s favourite food and primary source of nutrition. Running between Dyer and neighbouring Geyser Rock is a channel of ocean so frequented by great white sharks that it has been dubbed ‘Shark Alley’. This is where we anchor for an up-close encounter with great whites. The cage is dropped at the diving site and guests are allocated diving gear. Guests take consecutive turns in the eight-man floating cage to experience thrilling underwater views of this majestic apex predator.
