Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Tokyo

    Arrive at Haneda Airport – Japan.  Transfer to hotel. Hotel check in after 1600 hrs. Overnight in Tokyo.

  • Day 2 :Tokyo

    After breakfast, visit Asakusa Temple. This temple is also known as Sanja-sama and is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Tokyo. Asakusa shrine is part of a larger grouping of sacred building in the area. Later depart for Team Lab – Digital Art Museum (Subject to open -if time permit). Later visit Orientation tour- Tokyo Station, Imperial Palace, Diet Building, Shinjuku crossing , Akhiabara  etc. Visit Tokyo Sky Tree which is 634 m high and is an observation tower. Evening free time in Ginza. Overnight in Tokyo.

    After breakfast, Visit Chidorigafuchi Park & UENO Park for Cherry Blossom Viewing. Later depart for Aqualine –Umihotaru, Strawberry Picking. Later Visit Honda Robot Show.  Overnight in Tokyo.

  • Day 4 :Tokyo - Hakone

    Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel. First we will enjoy the Lake Ashi Cruise. Lake Ashi is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa. It’s a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano. The lake is known for its views of Mt. Fuji. Mt fuji 5th station (if weather and time permit). Later visit Owakudani Valley & Hakone Ropeway. Overnight in Hakone.

  • Day 5 :Hakone - Nagoya

    Morning after breakfast, depart from Hakone by bus to Nagoya. Visit Toyota Museum and SC Maglev Railway Museum. Later visit Nabano Sato. Overnight in Nagoya.

    Morning after breakfast, depart in bullet train for Hiroshima. Visit Peace Memorial Park and Museum, Atomic Bomb dome. Later depart for Miyajima Island. Overnight in Hiroshima.

  • Day 7 :Hiroshima - Kobe (Day Trip) - Osaka/Okayama

    After breakfast depart from Hiroshima to Osaka/ Okayama in Bullet train. Later depart for Kobe - Mt. Rokko, Jain Temple (if time permit) & Naruto Whirlpool Cruise. Overnight in Osaka.

Honda Robot Show

ASIMO stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility. It was created by the engineers of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., one of the leading car manufacturers in the world. This humanoid robot was introduced in 2000 and has been tagged as “The World’s Most Advanced Humanoid Robot.” ASIMO was created with the purpose of duplicating the complexities of human motion and helping the people in their mobility. And as the study and development for ASIMO continue, a number of demonstrations are also being held in different parts of the world to encourage and inspire students to be engaged in learning science.

Everyone is invited to meet ASIMO and be amazed at what it can do at Honda Welcome Plaza. Located in Aoyama, Tokyo, the demonstration show on ASIMO features its history and the beginnings of Honda’s robot technology, its physical attributes and characteristics, and the future it holds with other Honda Robotics. ASIMO also demonstrates its capabilities wherein it can walk, run at 9 kilometers per hour, jump, and hop on one leg. It can even talk, sing, and do the sign language. You can also have your picture taken with ASIMO at the end of its performance. The whole show usually runs for about 30 minutes.

Chidorigafuchi Park

It is the city’s most popular Hanami (cherry blossom viewpoint). There is 700m long pedestrian path for strolling around, and alongside the waters that especially pretty when the blossoms are lit up at night. Between the months of March and May you can rent row boat here. It is nationally famous sight for cherry blossom viewing as about 260 cherry trees, bloom in spring with gradually paints the green road in pink. It is literally in the blanket of greenery and seems like as if you are walking through the tunnel made of cherry blossoms.

Imperial Palace

The current Imperial Palace (Kokyo) is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo, a short walk from Tokyo Station. It is the residence of Japan's Imperial Family. Edo Castle used to be the seat of the Tokugawa shogun who ruled Japan from 1603 until 1867. The palace was once destroyed during World War Two, and rebuilt in the same style, afterwards. The current palace grounds were the site of Edo Castle, and before that, the residence of warrior Edo Shigetsugu. The land was close to Hibiya, which was then a beach, and was a strong flatlands location, strengthened by moats.

Tokyo Skytree

The Tokyo Skytree is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. It is the centerpiece of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City Ward. With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as "Musashi", a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion, It’s completed in 2012. A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base.

The Tokyo Skytree is its two observation decks which offer spectacular views out over Tokyo. The two enclosed decks are located at heights of 350 and 450 meters respectively, making them the highest observation decks in Japan and some of the highest in the world. Tembo Deck, the lower of the two decks is 350 meters high and spans three levels with great views from all of its floors. A second set of elevators connects the Tembo Deck to the 450 meter high Tembo Gallery. Dubbed "the world's highest skywalk", the Tembo Gallery consists of a sloping spiral ramp that gains height as it circles the tower. The construction of the steel and glass tube allows visitors to look down from the dizzying height of the tower and out over the Kanto Region to spectacular distances.

It is where you can find the infamous $10 cups of coffee and where virtually every leading brand name in fashion and cosmetics has a presence. Ginza’s main street called “Chuo Dori” is approx 1 km long and the street is closed for traffic for pedestrians to walk freely on weekends. The street is lined up with massive department stores, boutiques, souvenir stores and it’s the best place to shop both Japanese and international brands. Along with the luxury stores like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Bvlgari and more, there are also affordable shops like Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, GU, GAP and electronic gadgets shops like Big Camera (electronic department store),Sony show room and Apple Store.

Also in the park is Ueno Zoo, current home of beloved giant panda Xiang Xiang. Ameya-Yokocho is a vast open-air food and handicrafts market.
