    Asakusa Temple

Asakusa Sensoji Temple is the oldest and most visited temple around Tokyo. The origin of Asakusa Sensoji Temple dates way back to the 6th century. It is said that in 628,  two brothers, the Hinokuma brothers, who were fishing at a river nearby, happened to fish a Buddha statue. The brothers brought the Buddha statue home, rebuilt their home into a temple, and started a temple which later came to be known as Asakusa Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is known to bring luck for almost anything: health, studies, love, etc. In front of the main hall of the temple, you will see many people covering themselves with smoke. The smoke they are covering themselves with, is believed to make the part they covered with smoke better. Therefore, many people pat smoke on their head in order to make themselves smarter. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is not just a normal shrine. It has a long path called “Nakamise-dori”, a path jam packed with souvenir stores all along the way to the main hall. You can find anything here: Kimonos, chopsticks, fans, Japanese confectionary, keychains, T-shirts, you name it. Locals tend to buy “Ningyo-yaki”or “Kaminari-Okoshi.” Ningyo-yaki is something like baked pancake dough with red bean paste in it, and Kaminari-Okoshis are Japanese-style rice crispies. The Sensoji Kannon temple is dedicated to Kannon Bosatsu, the Bodhisattva of compassion, and is the most widely visited spiritual site in the world with over 30 million visitors annually.

    Team Lab 3.jpg

    Team Lab

TeamLab Borderless is a group of artworks that form one borderless world. Artworks move out of the rooms freely, form connections and relationships with people, communicate with other works, influence and sometimes intermingle with each other, and have the same concept of time as the human body.

People lose themselves in the artwork world. The borderless works transform according to the presence of people, and as we immerse and meld ourselves into this unified world, we explore a continuity among people, as well as a new relationship that transcends the boundaries between people and the world.

    DisneySea Tour

Tokyo DisneySea is a fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort that is unique to Japan. Inspired by the myths and legends of the sea. It opened on 4 September 2001, at a cost of 335 billion yen.
Tokyo DisneySea was the second theme park to open at the Tokyo Disney Resort and the ninth park of the twelve worldwide Disney theme parks to open.
Tokyo DisneySea is made up of seven themed ports of call: Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery and American Waterfront. Its suitable for all ages, Tokyo DisneySea was designed to specifically also appeal to a more grown up audience.

    Themed Ports of DisneySea:

    Mediterranean Harbor –
Mediterranean Harbor at the entrance to the park is styled after an Italian port town. Its waterfront features Venice style canals and gondolas, and its buildings make up the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta. Large shows with boats and water fountains are held daily in the harbor.

    Mysterious Island –
Here you can explore the depths of the ocean aboard one of Captain Nemo's submarines or journey to the center of the earth in one of his science vehicles.

    Mermaid Lagoon -
Mermaid Lagoon allows surface dwellers to enter the undersea world of Ariel and her fishy friends from The Little Mermaid. This whimsical area of the park with its rides and shows is geared toward younger children.

    Arabian Coast –
The Arabian Coast recreates the world of Aladdin and 1001 Arabian Nights. Here you can watch a magic show hosted by Genie or travel with Sinbad as he sets sail for discovery.

    Lost River Delta –
The Lost River Delta was built among the ruins of an ancient temple pyramid in the Central American jungle. The Indiana Jones Adventure ride explores the bowels of the temple ruins, while the Raging Spirits Roller Coaster rumbles along next door.

    Port Discovery –
Port Discovery is the marina of the future where visitors can check out the Searider, a simulation ride exploring the marine life with Nemo and Dory, or try out some of the experimental, self-guided watercraft that travel between the rocks, fountains and whirlpools of the Aquatopia attraction.

    American Waterfront –
The American Waterfront zone is styled after the 20th century harbor towns found around New York, New England and Cape Cod. The area features an elevated train, American styled restaurants and shops, a playhouse and the S.S. Columbia steam liner that houses a restaurant and lounge.
