Shanghai Acrobatic Show 5.jpg

Acrobatic Show

A tradition dating back to the Qin Dynasty, acrobatic shows are the Chinese equivalent of Cirque du Soleil, with dangerous stunts, magic, comedy, theater, and Chinese acrobatic arts. Chinese Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts. Acrobatics is an interactive art form. Everyone, young or old, educated or not, can easily appreciate it while watching or seeing the acrobats perform. There is no language barrier and borders of culture do not limit it... Its history can be traced back to Neolithic times. The early performance is "walking on three-meter-high stilts while juggling seven gaggers". Then it developed into an entire art form.
ERA Acrobatic is a thought-provoking love story, yet it is also contemplation across the millennia, a fascination with that other dimension man has yet to conquer: time. ERA's acrobats are on a quest to find that tenuous point of balance, the intersection between X, Y and Z. As such, ERA can remain universal, without language or cultural barriers. A thousand-year-old gesture is worth a thousand emotions, a thousand images, a thousand words.
