Day tour to Kangaroo Island Cruise

Cruise ships anchor off the town of Penneshaw and tender to the jetty. Kangaroo Island, named by Matthew Flinders in 1802, is Australia's third largest island. Situated 112 km SW of Adelaide, it is a pristine untamed wilderness where the koalas aren't being cuddled, they're relaxing at home in native trees.
When your cruise ship docks in Penneshaw, take a full-day shore excursion that shows you the best of Kangaroo Island’s local food and wine producers. Stop at a number of local farms and shops to sample their goods, including a wine tasting, gin tasting, eucalyptus oil products, honey, and a lavender farm where you nibble scones served with tea or coffee.
Kangaroo Island lies off the mainland of South Australia, southwest of Adelaide. Over a third of the island is protected in nature reserves, home to native wildlife like sea lions, koalas and diverse bird species. In the west, Flinders Chase National Park is known for penguin colonies and striking coastal rock formations, like the sculpted Remarkable Rocks and the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch.
