Kinari Bazar, A Place For Shopaholic
The narrow tapestry behind the Jama Masjid is an overcrowded maze of vibrant markets. The area is understood as Kinari Bazaar as many lanes diffuse from the Kinari Bazaar road. It is a colourful market dotted with variety of outlets each specializing in several wares. You can choose between an array of things like clothing, shoes, jewelry, spices, fabrics, marble work, snack stalls, etc. Kinari Bazar may be a favorite to both the locals and therefore the tourists. It is one among the places in Agra where you'll find the best jewelry. Besides this Kinari Bazaar features a good collection of bridal wears, jewelry, and ceremonious bric-a-brac. If you're in Agra and need to satisfy your shopping spree, then visiting Kinari Bazaar may be a must. Even if you're not willing to shop for anything, simply walking down the streets are going to be an experience to enjoy and cherish for the lifetime.

Fatehpur Sikri
This magnificent fortified ancient city, 25 miles (40km) west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Earlier, Akbar had visited the village of Sikri to consult the Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who predicted the birth of an heir to the Mughal throne. When the prophecy came true, Akbar built his new capital here, including a stunning mosque, still in use today, and three palaces, one for each of his favorite wives – one a Hindu, one a Muslim and one a Christian (though Hindu villagers in Sikri dispute these claims). The city was an Indo-Islamic masterpiece, but was erected in a neighborhood that supposedly suffered from water shortages then was abandoned shortly after Akbar’s death. The red-sandstone palace walls are at their most atmospheric and photogenic near sunset.
Tomb Of Akbar The Great
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula
Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah (I'timad-ud-Daulah Maqbara) is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Bachcha Taj" or the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Along with the main building, the structure consists of numerous outbuildings and gardens. The tomb, built between 1622 and 1628, represents a transition between the first phase of monumental Mughal architecture – primarily built from red sandstone with marble decorations, as in Humayun's Tomb in Delhi and Akbar's tomb in Sikandra – to its second phase, based on white marble and pietra dura inlay, most elegantly realized in the Taj Mahal.
The mausoleum was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, originally a Persian Amir in exile,[1] who had been given the title of I'timad-ud-Daulah (pillar of the state). Mirza Ghiyas Beg was also the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal (originally named Arjumand Banu Begum, daughter of Asaf Khan), the wife of the emperor Shah Jahan, responsible for the construction of the Taj Mahal. Nur Jahan was also responsible for the construction of the Tomb of Jahangir in Lahore. It is noticeable for the first use of pietra dura (floral design made up of semiprecious stone) technique.

The grand Jama Masjid of Delhi was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan during 1650-1656. Situated on a hill near the Red fort, this largest mosque of India took 5,000 labourers 6 years to complete and pays testament to the vision and power of Shah Jahan, who is taken into account to be the foremost prolific builder among the Mughal emperors. The highly decorative mosque has three great gates, four towers and two 40 m-high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble. This great mosque of Delhi is that the largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. It was begun in 1644 and ended up being the ultimate architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan , the Mughal emperor who built the Taj Mahal and therefore the Red Fort.
