  • Day 1 :Bangalore - Coorg - (6hrs 285kms)

    Arrive at Bangalore Airport/railway station, meet the assistance and proceed to Coorg. 

    Coorg: Kodagu is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. Before 1956 it was an administratively separate Coorg State, at which point it was merged into an enlarged Mysore State. Coorg is known for its coffee and its people. On arrival at Coorg check into the hotel.  Freshen up, take lunch. Evening free for leisure or to enjoy the resort activities. Dinner & Overnight stay at Coorg.

    Omkareshwara Temple - The Omkareshwara Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated in the town of Madikeri in Coorg, Karnataka. The specialty of the temple is that its construction reflects a mix of Gothic and Islamic styles. It is a popular religious destination of Coorg.

    Abbey Falls - The falls was earlier called Jessi falls named after a British officer's wife. However, the place was a thick jungle area back then.Evening visit Raja’s seat, return to the hotel.     Today morning after breakfast visit Dubare Elephant Camp. 

    Dubare is known for its elephant camp, a forest camp on the banks of the river Kaveri in the district of Kodagu, Karnataka. It is an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants. (Activities like Elephant interaction, feeding, Quad biking are at additional cost at Dubare elephant camp) Afternoon return to the hotel, take lunch and later visit 

    Golden Temple - One of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India, it is known for its monasteries, handicrafts, carpet factories, and an incense factory.Return to hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Coorg.

  • Day 4 :Coorg – Wayand - (3HRS, 120 KMS)

    Today morning after breakfast check out and  depart for Wayand . 

    Wayanad, an Indian district in the north-east of Kerala state with administrative headquarters at the municipality of Kalpetta and bordered by Karnataka to north and north-east, Tamil Nadu to south-east, Malappuram to south, Kozhikode to south-west and Kannur to north-west. Quite a large area is covered by forest and blessed with rich water resources. It’s a beautiful scenic and lush green place. 

    Its mainly divided into five different areas with the sightseeing and hotels in each area. Kalpetta (main area), Sultan Bathery (big and famous area, where good shops, market, malls, super and hyper markets, daily necessity shops are located - lots of restaurants and cafes and good bakeries  in this area ) Mananthavady, Lakkidi – where famous Vythri resorts are located and a gateway to Wayanand from Calicut.

    Today Morning after breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing covering

    Banasura Sagar Dam : This is the largest earth dam in India and the second largest in Asia. The topography here is such that many islands will be formed in the upstream of the dam when the dam is full. These islands with the background of the Banasura hill will provide a hypnotizing sight to tourists.

    Very beautiful surroundings and view points and Adventure activities like zip lining, zorbing, speed boat, coracle ride (at additional cost) can be done at Banasura sagar dam. (9 am to 5 pm)

     Edakkal caves and Soochipara waterfalls. (any 2 set of sightseeings can be done because of distant locations)

    Edakkal caves : Edakkal caves are famous for its pictorial paintings (cave paintings), which are considered to be of 6000 B C. To reach the caves, one has to trek through the Ambukutty Mala. It will take around 45 minutes to climb the hill and you will never get disappointed in your trip to these historic caves. Edakkal is the only known place in India with Stone Age carvings. You can see here carvings belonging to Neolithic and Mesolithic age. The human figures of these caves have raised hair and some have masks. They all have archeological significance and are interesting too. Along with these pictorial carvings, you can also watch Tamil and Brahmi Script in Edakkal caves.

    Edakkal is said to have some links with Indus Valley Civilization too. Around 400 signs were discovered recently, which had shown its relationship with the ancient civilization.


    Soochipara waterfalls : Soochipara waterfall is a three tiered waterfall at Vellarimala in Wayanad. This waterfall, surrounded by dense green forest, is also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfall. A 20 minute drive from Meppadi in Wayanad will take you to this splendid waterfall. The name Soochipara derived from the words ‘soochi’ and ‘para’ means ‘rock’ and ‘needle’. The name given is apt as you can see needle shaped rock here.

    You have to walk around 2 km to reach the waterfall, where vehicles can’t move further. You have to pay a nominal fee for entrance and camera. From the entrance you need to descend down to reach the falls. The water here cascades down from a height of 100 to 200 ft and this waterfall is an ideal place for trekking and rock climbing. You can sight a pool beneath this falls and here you can go for swimming and bathing.Best time to visit Soochipara waterfall is during monsoon season as you can see the waterfall at its fullest.Evening at leisure to enjoy the resort and its activities.     Offering a bird’s eye view of the magnificent surroundings, this place leaves you in search of words to describe the panoramic vista that your eyes behold. It is also a famous picnic spot and often known as the ‘Gateway of Wayanad’. 

    Lakkidi is also known for receiving the second highest rainfall in the world and its misty environment makes it an unforgettable tourist place in Wayanad. It is located at an elevation of 700 metres above sea level.

Depicting both Islamic and Gothic architecture, located on Omkareshwara Temple Road in the town of Madikeri, Omkareshwara Temple is an ancient Hindu architecture. Omkareshwara temple was constructed by King Linga Rajendra - II of the Kodagu Kingdom in Coorg in 1820 as a dedication to Lord Shiva. The temple has stunning architecture and has been constructed in the Muhammadan style of architecture which certainly reflects by the dome at the centre. A water tank in this temple houses many freshwater fish and adds to the beauty of this temple.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, It is believed that it was altered to its Mohammedan style outlook during the rule of Tipu Sultan, in order to avoid destruction by him. Omkareshwara Temple remains open on all days of the year, and does not have any visiting restrictions. Omkareshwara Temple is located in the very heart of the town of Madikeri. It is easily reachable through multiple modes of transportation. The temple also has a parking space of its own to allow devotees to park their cars while visiting. Photography is restricted within the temple complex.

The Sunrise and Sunset gives stunning view which is worth captivating in your cameras. It is perfect setting to relax and admire the picture-perfect view of the surrounding areas. Lush greenery with calm environment and golden streams of sunlight makes this place paradise for nature and photography enthusiastic.

Having an early morning with your loved ones and enjoying the scenic beauty is something very simple but for a sure a moment worth remembering for longer period of time. The place along with a wonderful park has a Gandhi Mantap to its left. The Gandhi Mantap is the place where remains of Mahatma Gandhi have been kept.

The Buddhist Golden temple at Bylakuppe is a place worth visiting. Bylakuppe, along with Dharamsala, is the residing place for thousands of Tibetans, who have been living since many decades. It wont be wrong saying that this is the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in South India.

The Golden Temple also called Namdroling Monastery stands magnificent scenic landscapes, emanating peacefulness and calmness. The monastery is very well known as Golden temple due to the golden paintings crafted on the monastery. This monastery or golden temple was established in the year of 1963 by His Holiness Pema Norbu Rinpoche shortly after his exit from Tibet in 1959 as the second seat of the Palyul Monastery which is one of the six great Tibet Nyingma Mother monasteries.

The full name of the Namdroling Monastery is Thegchog Namdrol Shedrub Dargyeling. Initially spread over an area of 80 sq. feet, this temple was constructed of the bamboo from the forest which was donated by the Indian Government to the Tibetan exiles.

Golden Temple emanates peacefulness amid the noisy streets and crowd of tourists. The temple houses three captivating golden statues, namely of Buddha, Padmasambhava, and Amitayus. Each statue is about the height of 40 feet. Every part of the temple depicts beautiful designs. It is said to be the largest teaching centre Nyingmapa which is a prime a lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Its walls have been decorated with intricate paintings. These colourful paintings illustrate stories of God and demons from Tibetan Buddhist mythology. The altar of the temple is filled with flowers, candles and incense sticks. You can even spot small birds flying freely around the temple complex. What makes Golden temple even more mesmerising is the captivating landscapes around it. Once you are inside the temple, try to keep silence as it is one of the requisites to remain in holy complex. Usually devotees seek blessings by lighting the incense sticks after which they sit on carpet to imbibe the piousness and spirituality radiating at this place.

If interested then you can capture the incomparable beauty of this temple also as photography is allowed even inside the temple. For shopping lovers also there is something to interest them. There are shopping centres near the temple, offering an extensive range of Tibetan items such as statues, carpets, traditional costumes and exquisite jewelleries, etc.

Dubare Elephant Camp is an elephant training center located on the banks of the river Cauvery in the district of Kodagu, Karnataka State. It is one of the most popular and top tourist attraction to visit in Coorg. Dubare is a natural island formed by Cauvery River which is also an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants and among one of the must include places in India wildlife. This camp has many elephants which are very well trained. One will amaze to find that the elephants used for Mysore Dussehra are trained at this camp. The trainers also explain the various aspects of elephant history, their ecology, as well as biology. Tourist can also participate in various activities such as elephants feeding. Tourists can also watch elephants being given a bath in the river and also watch how oil is applied on their Tusks, forehead etc.

Tourist can also explore and enjoy the activities such as trekking, coracle ride, elephant rides, coracle boat ride, fishing, bird watching and river rafting. River rafting at Dubare is one of the top adventure activity and things to do in Coorg. One can also enjoy trekking which is managed by the forest department conducts trekking into the forest surrounding the camp along the Cauvery River.

The forests of Dubare are home to many wild animals and as well as birds. The sighting of wild Asiatic elephants is regular and there is a possibility of spotting sambar, tigers, spotted deer, wild dogs, leopards and gaur. Bears are also found in these forests. The best time to visit Dubare Elephant Camp is somewhere between September and March which is pleasant for tourist.
