Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Chandigarh to Manali

    Start your journey from Chandigarh, covering a distance of approximately 310 kilometers to Manali. The drive will take around 7-8 hours. On arrivel in Manali, check into your hotel, and freshen up. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant Mall Road, visiting local markets, and tasting the local cuisine. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

  • Day 2 :Manali to Trilokinath – Udaipur – Tholang

    After an early breakfast at your hotel, depart from Manali around 8:00 AM. Head towards Rohtang Pass (subject to weather conditions) to enjoy the magnificent views. Continue your journey to Trilokinath. Visit the ancient Trilokinath Temple, revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Proceed to Udaipur and visit the Mrikula Devi Temple. After a short break, continue to Tholang, Check into your homestay, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 :Tholang – Jispa – Shinkula – Deepaktal – Yangla

    Begin your day with breakfast at your accommodation and depart from Tholang at 8:00 AM. Continue your journey towards Shinkula Pass crossing Jispa and Darcha, Spend sometime with the breathtaking views later proceed to visit Deepaktal, arriving by 2:30 PM. Explore the stunning high-altitude lake. in the late afternoon proceed to Yangla for night stay. Check into your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

  • Day 4 :Yangla

    Spend a leisurely day in Yangla. After breakfast, explore the village and interact with the locals to learn about their culture. You can opt for a hike to nearby scenic spots, enjoying the fresh mountain air and beautiful landscapes. Have lunch either at your stay or as a picnic during the hike. Spend the afternoon relaxing and watching the glaciers. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay in Yangla.

  • Day 5 :Yangla to Chandratal
    After an early breakfast, depart from Yangla around 8:00 AM for Chandratal, covering a distance of about 95 kilometers in around 6 hours. Arrive at Chandratal Lake by noon and settle into the camp near the lake. Enjoy lunch in Batal and spend the afternoon exploring the area around Chandratal Lake. Take a leisurely walk around the lake and admire the stunning views. After dinner at the camp, enjoy stargazing before retiring for the night.

  • Day 6 :Chandratal to Manali

    Start your day with an early breakfast at the camp and depart from Chandratal around 8:00 AM. On your way back to Manali, take a short break at Atatl tunnel and enjoy the breathtaking views. Continue your journey with a lunch break en route, arriving in Manali by mid-afternoon. Check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring Manali at your leisure. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 7 :Manali to Chandigarh

    Conclude your trip with an early breakfast and departure from Manali around 7:00 AM. The journey back to Chandigarh covers approximately 310 kilometers and takes 8-10 hours. Take short breaks along the way for tea/coffee and lunch. Arrive in Chandigarh by late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your desired location, marking the end of your memorable Lahaul Valley trip.

Visit Manali Main Street - Mall Road

Manali is a magnificent hill station and attracts tourists from all over the country. It is popular not only for its beauty, but also for the popular Mall Road shopping center.The place is famous for street shopping and bustle with events taking place during the day. While strolling the streets, you can take a closer look at the finely populated shops, which are associated with impressive items such as shawls, woollen items, artificial ornaments, wooden furniture, antiques, books, Tibetan items, and much more.If you are looking for a Kashmir salwar suit, paper silk printed sarees & other items with jams or pickles, among other things that are prevalent in ethnic style, are quite popular with tourists. Rohtang Pass (Optional Cost )

Rohtang pass is situated at a distance of 51 kilometers from the main town and it is also said to be a gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Important Notes:  
  • Local vehicles are not allowed there because for rohtang pass need to take online permit before one day with necessary documents , Better you can do their union vehicle it has already permit .The only reason behind doing this is to save the delicate ecology of the pass and stop the environmental damage. 
  • No Vehicles are allowed on TUESDAY as the day is marked for maintenance of Rohtang Pass 
  • Make sure you plan your trip so that you reach the pass while it is still daylight. The path is quite difficult, the roads are winding, the altitudes are high, and it gets colder as the day progresses. So it is better to start early during the day so that you can come back in time 
  • Make sure you wear warm clothes as it gets quite cold in the mountains. Additionally, it is recommended to keep a thermos of tea or coffee, and pack some snacks too. 
  • If you are planning to rent snow clothes, make sure you compare the prices with the fixed prices decided by the government.
  • Since oxygen levels are low in the mountains, you may get altitude sickness. Pack some necessary medications for such cases.
