  • Day 1 :Delhi - Shimla (343KMS, 9 hrs):

    Arrive at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, You will be transfer to Shimla - the land of pine scented hills, beautiful Shali peaks, crisp winter skies, fragrant cedar forests, romantic mists and golden hillsides. On arrival check into your hotel & freshen up. Rest of the day is free to explore Shimla’s famous mall road. Dinner & Overnight stay at Shimla.

  • Day 2 :Shimla

    This morning you will be driven to Kufri valley - located 16 kms from Shimla, it commands a panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas. Later in the afternoon visit Naldehra - 23kms - under a skyline etched with conifers, Naldehra offers a well-groomed nine hole golf course. Evening take a visit to Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Hanuman, from where you enjoy an excellent view of Shimla. Next visit the Viceregal Lodge, which once served as the seat of power. Drive back to your hotel in the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Shimla.

  • Day 3 :Shimla - Manali (257 KMS, 7 ½ hrs)

    Morning depart from Shimla to Manali. On arrival check into the hotel. Today you can visit The Tibetan market. It has many stalls selling shawls and other woolen clothes and souvenirs. Evening will be at leisure. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at Manali.

    Morning  proceed for an excursion to Rohtang Pass  (At Personal Cost through Union Vehicle), located 51 kms from Manali, 3978 meters high, which for centuries was the gateway to the trading routes that led to Lahaul, Ladakh and Central Asia. From the crest of the pass, one can take in a sweeping panorama of mountain ranges, pinnacles, precipitous cliffs, ridges, huge glaciers, moraine and deep ravines. Return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Manali.

  • Day 5 :Manali

    Today we will visit the Jagatsukh Naggar Art Gallery, Hadimba Devi Temple and The Tibetan Monastery before proceeding to Vashisht village, just outside Manali, across the river Beas, known for its hot sulphur springs whose water is said to have curative properties. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. Rest of the day is free. Dinner & Overnight stay at Manali .

  • Day 6 :Manali - Dharamshala (223 KMS, 7 HRS)
    Morning drive to Dharamshala. – is synonymous with the Tibetan Govt. in texile , the actual headquarters  in Dharamshala at Gangchen Kyishong, and most travelers hang out at McLeod Ganj. On arrival check into the hotel.Evening you can visit the colourful Kotiwali Bazaar and Kangra Art Museum –  displaying miniature paintings,elaborately embroidered costumes of Kangra people , wood carvings, tribal jewellery and , to cap it all, a million and a half year old fossil of an elephant’s tooth.     Morning proceed for transfer from Dalhousie to Amritsar. In Amritsar you can enjoy the Golden Temple, the Jallianwala Bagh. You can enjoy the Beating Retreat Ceremony at the Wagah Border, where the Indian Army and Pakistan Army lower the National Flags of both the countries before closing the Border gates at the time of sunset. Amritsar : the city was built in 1577. The city is home to one of the holiest Sikh Shrines called Golden Temple, a memorial of national importance known as JallianwalaBagh, and the Partition Museum that’ll remind you of the post-partition riots. The Gobindgarh Fort and Rambagh, built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh are also among the jewels of the city.On arrival check into the hotel. Freshen up. Later drive to AttariWagah Border (31 kms from Amritsar) to witness the prestigious and awe-inspiring ‘Lowering of the Flags’ ceremony before closing the Border gates at the time of sunset.

Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib)

Darbar Sahib or Sri Harmandir Sahib or The Golden Temple is one of the most spiritual Place in India and the holiest shrine for Sikhism. Located in city center  Golden Temple is easily accessible from any part of the city. The  Striking Golden architecture of the temple and daily Langar attracts as a larger number of devotees and visitors every day. The temple feeds nearly  100,000 people free food  from all walks of life. The Main Temple housing the Shrine is known as  Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib. The spiritual focus is the tank, the Amrit Sarovar. The Sikh Museum is located inside the main entrance clock tower. The temple was repeatedly rebuilt by the Sikhs after it was destroyed several times by the Muslim armies from Afghanistan and the Mughal Empire. Sri Harmandir Sahib (The Golden Temple) organizes the largest langar sewa in the world. It serves around a 100,000 devotees daily. While food is served, all the devotees sit together in rows on the floor, irrespective of their religion, caste or creed. All the devotees are considered equal here. The stairs that enter the temple go downwards. This is designed in this way to symbolize the humble way of living

  • Wearing shorts is not advisable.
  • On arrival at the Golden Temple, both men and women are required to wear a scarf over their head (don’t worry if you forget to bring a scarf as headscarves are sold outside at a very cheap price).
  • Free Bus facility is available for the Airport, Railway Station and/or Bus Stand from the Golden Temple.
  • Wheel chairs are available to the physically challenged and/or the very old. They can be procured from an office in the Parikarma near Ber Baba Budha Sahib.

Jallianwala Bagh

Spread over 6.5 acres of land near Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh is connected with one of the saddest day in Indian History which occurred in April 1919.Thousand of innocent people were killed on the day of  gathering of Baisakhi by the order given by General Dyer.

The place is now turned into beautiful public park.The tragic incident left a deep scar on the country, and a memorial was constructed after the independence and was inaugurated on 13 April 1961. A number of structures are present inside the premises which remind’s of the incident that occurred here. These include a wall which still bears the marks of the bullets that were shot blindly at the civilians and a well in which many people jumped to save themselves from the  bullets.Over a 1000 Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs lost their lives in this brutal assault.

Located at a distance of 28 Km from Amritsar and 22Km from Lahore, Pakistan, the Wagah Border is the land boundary between India and  Pakistan along the Grand Trunk Road. The Wagah Border Ceremony or the Beating Retreat Ceremony is held every evening just before sunset.30 Minute display of military camaraderie from the India and Pakistan meet at this border post.

The Ceremony has been conducted by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers since 1959. This includes the closing of the international gates and lowering the flags of both countries.
Thousands of people come here every day to witness the ceremony, the crowd engages in chanting the Indian national anthem and enjoying on rounds of Bollywood songs.

Important Note : 

  • No, there is no ticket for Wagah border and you do not need any pass to watch Wagah border ceremony as it is free and open for everyone. But, one should reach at least an hour before to get proper seats because it is usually crowded with tourists.
  • There is no online booking for the VIP pass. You need to go there a day in advance with your id proof and request for a pass, you collect the passes next day on your way to the Wagah border. The pass window is a few KM's before the border. You need a pass only if you want preferential seating.
  • Mobile phones, cameras and men's wallets are allowed. No covered bags, including women's purses & handbags, are allowed inside the visitor areas. However, border personnel allow clear plastic bags with few snacks, water, children's food etc.
