- Rates are different for the NRI & Foreign nationals. NRI clients have to take visa to travel to Bhutan.
- Bhutan is a very simple country yet very scenic. The itinerary is not filled with lot of sightseeing places because Bhutan is mainly famous for scenic beauty like mountains, valleys & the local culture to explore by the tourist.
- There are hilly drives involved during the tour.
- Due to hilly drives, the vehicles used here will not have overhead carriers to store the luggage. Luggage will be stored inside the car only.
- It is strictly advisable to travel light. 1 medium size bag & 1 carry bag per person is allowed as per the transport norms.
- Most of the hotels do not have light facility. Clients have to climb the stairs.
- Food at the hotels is basic, with local flavour & limited options available.
- Tempo traveller is not as comfortable as Innova.
- The Tempo traveller in this destination is modified as per the roads of this place & so the seats are narrow , Leg space is very less , seats are non-push back & the middle row is also narrow.
The Following Points To Be Noted For Child Rate
Majority of the hotels follows the child policy mentioned below:
- Children above 10+ years will be considered as an adult and will be charged as per EPSR rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room with bed / Mattress & Roll Over / Fixed day-bed / Dewan will be charged as per CWB rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room without bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CNB rate.
- Children below 5 years will be complimentary without bed (sharing the parent’s room).
Notes :
- Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for.
- Some of the 4 star & 5 star hotels have the policy of charging for all child above 3 years as per CWB & CNB. Child below 03 years is treated as complimentary.
Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Paro Airport (PBH) - Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7656 Fts, 65 Kms / 01½ to 02 Hrs drive approx)
On arrival at Paro Airport and after completing your Visa / Permit formalities you will be received by our Bhutan representative who will assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer from Paro Airport to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan. Based on time availability, en route stop at Tamchog Lhakhang (Iron Bridge) & Photo break at Chuzom (Confluence) Meeting point of Thimpu River (Wong Chu) & Paro River (Pa Chu).On arrival at Thimphu, check in to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

- Day 2 :Thimphu - Full Day Local sightseeing - Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7611 Ft)
After breakfast go for Thimphu sightseeing covering Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) which is located at an elevation of (2865 Mts / 9397Fts), which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu, Then after visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong), Textiles Museum, Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery), Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday). Overnight at Hotel.

- Day 3 :Thimphu - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs one way drive approx)
After leisurely breakfast, checkout and then drive from Thimphu to Punakha / Wangdi, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Afternoon / evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

- Day 4 :Punakha / Wangdi - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts)
After breakfast go for local sightseeing of Punakha Dzong, the Suspension Bridge and then proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery)..
Optional White water rafting on Direct payment basis on Punakha River. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Punakha / Wangdi.
Notes :
Guest who are opting for White Water Rafting, must carry 01 extra dress along for change, just in case one gets wet.

After breakfast, checkout from hotel and then transfer from Punakha / Wangdi to Paro. On arrival at Paro, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Today after early breakfast, start the day for an excursion to Chele-la pass. Later drive back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

- Day 7 :Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing - Paro (2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)
After breakfast go for Full day Paro sightseeing covering Dungtse Lhakhang, then stop at Bird eye view point from this point picturesque Paro Valley can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all of that looks stunning. Ideal time to go here would be between 10-11 AM. Then visit Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong & Kichu Lhakhang. Back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Sangaygang View Point
Bhutan Broadcasting Service Tower or BBS Tower is at an elevation of 2,865 meters which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu. Also known as Sangaygang Viewpoint, this is very popular among visitors because of the beautiful panorama of the lush valleys that it provides.

Kuenselphodrang ( Buddha Point )

The kuensel Phodrang welcomes you to Thimphu's charming town to a 51-meter-high gold-plated steel statue of Buddha Dordenma. The Buddha Point, which was the palace of the thirteenth Druk, Sherab Wangchuck, and housing the Shakyamuni Buddha, is also known as the Buddha Point. The statue was erected to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, as well as to fulfil two ancient prophesies from the 8th and 12th centuries, according to which a massive Buddha statue will be erected in the region to bring peace and happiness to the globe.

Textiles Museum

At the National Textile Museum, visitors can learn about the differences in fabrics and weaving styles from one region to the next across the country. In terms of clothing and textiles, the National Textile Museum provides an insight into Bhutanese history. Traditional Bhutanese artefacts such as wedding gowns worn by prior kings and queens, traditional nomadic fabrics, and much more can be found.

Zangthopelri Lhakhang
Built on a hillock, in the heart of Phuentsholing is situated the Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. It is known to represent the celestial abode of the guru. It offers great views of the town and surrounding area.
The temple is in Park, which has a lovely ambience. It is a social hub of Phuentsholing. Lovers flock to this spot for impromptu dates, tourists and monks walk around. Chants can be heard often. The park is well maintained and one can sit back and relax with a book and coffee.
The small temple contains some fine examples of Buddhist drawings. The temple symbolizes the heaven as envisioned by Guru Rinpoche. The temple's floor has the huge paintings depicting life of Buddha. Another attraction of the temple are the statues of 8 manifestations of Guru Rinpoche.

Simply Bhutan

Simply Bhutan is a one-of-a-kind project that attempts to preserve our culture and traditions while also providing career opportunities for young people. The infrastructure depicts traditional Bhutanese architecture that is vanishing due to modernity. The composition of the materials employed gives the construction its distinctiveness. Ancient timber, window and door frames, and other components from traditional and old demolished houses are used to construct the construction. The depiction of Bhutanese people's ancient life patterns is the best portion. Visitors can learn how to make arak, dress up in traditional garb, practice archery, and listen to songs sung by Bhutanese women while they construct rammed earth dwellings. It's a unique experience for the whole family.
