    Phuentsholing (293 Mts / 961 Fts, 165 Kms, 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx)

    Pick up from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and transfer to Phuentsholing. Meet & Greet upon arrival at Phuentsholing (298 Mts / 977 Fts), go to Phuentsholing Immigration office for Bhutan entry formalities assisted by our Bhutan representative. Later check in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 2 :Phuentsholing - Thimphu

    Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7656 Ft, 158 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs drive approx)

    After breakfast, checkout and then after completing your Visa / Permit formalities assisted by our Bhutan representative who will then assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, in case if your permit are not done on day of arrival. On arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 3 :Thimphu - Full Day Local sightseeing - Thimphu

    After breakfast go for Thimphu sightseeing covering Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) which is located at an elevation of (2865 Mts / 9397Fts), which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu, Then after visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong), Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School) (Closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum per person Adult / Child), Post Office Handicrafts Shops (Closed on Saturday,Sunday & National Holiday),  Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery), Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday), Motithang Takin Preservation Centre  (Closed on Every Monday).   • Day 4 :Thimphu - Punakha / Wangdi

    Punakha / Wangdi (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs one way drive approx)

    After leisurely breakfast, checkout and then drive from Thimphu to Punakha / Wangdi, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Afternoon / evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 5 :Punakha / Wangdi - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi

    Punakha / Wangdi (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts)

    After breakfast go for local sightseeing of Punakha . Punakha Dzong the Suspension Bridge and then proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery)

    Optional White water rafting on Direct payment basis on Punakha River. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Punakha / Wangdi.

    Today the day start early for full day excursion to Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley. The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. At Gangtey visit Black Necked Crane Information Centre, Gangtey Goempa (Monastery). Drive back to the Punakha/ Wangdi. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 6 :Punakha / Wangdi via Lamperi - Paro

    Paro (2200 Mts / 7656 Fts, 148 Kms / 04 to 04 ½ Hrs drive approx)

    After breakfast, checkout from hotel and then transfer from Punakha / Wangdi to Paro. En route stop at Docula Pass & at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Garden. On arrival at Paro, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 7 :Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing - Paro

    Paro (2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)

    After breakfast go for Full day Paro sightseeing covering of Dungtse Lhakhang, Then stop at Bird eye view point from this point picturesque Paro Valley can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all of that looks stunning. Ideal time to go here would be between 10-11 AM. Then visit Ta Dzong  (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang. Afternoon visit the Paro local Market. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 8 :Paro - Hike To Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’S Nest) - Paro

    Paro (2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)  

    Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) – Optional (Entrance fee INR 2000 (Approx) per person Adult / Child). The hike which is a uphill climb for about 2 ½ to 3 Hrs (Depending on Guest Fitness label) one way through pine forests. Many guest who are unable to make it to the top can hike upto the cafeteria points which is again about 1 to 1 ½ Hrs uphill climb. Later return back to the base where the vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.

    Paro - Excursion to Chele - la pass - Paro

    Chele-la pass (3988 Mts / 13080 Fts, 40 Kms / 02 to 02 ½ Hrs - One way drive approx from Paro)

    After breakfast go for a day excursion to Chele-la pass. Later drive back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

    Optional: White water rafting on Direct payment basis on Punakha River. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Punakha / Wangdi.

    Paro - Hike To Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’S Nest) - Paro

    Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) (Entrance fee INR 1000 (Approx) per person Adult / Child). The hike which is a uphill climb for about 2 ½ to 3 Hrs (Depending on Guest Fitness label) one way through pine forests.     Today after early breakfast, Start the day for a full day excursion to Haa via Chele-la pass (3988 Mts / 13080 Fts) with packed or early breakfast. In Haa visit Haa Dzong, Lhakhang Karpo, Lhakhang Nagpo, Wangchulo Dzong. Depending on the weather, road conditions and time Haa excursion could be either taken from Chele-la Pass or from Chozum side. Later drive back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.
  • Day 19 :Paro - Phuentsholing (Bhutan) – Siliguri (India) Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India) (298 Mts /977 Fts, 176 Kms / 04 To 05 Hrs Drive Approx) Siliguri (140 Mts / 460 Ft, 165 Kms, 04 To 05 Hrs Drive Approx From Phuntsholing)

Kuenselphodrang ( Buddha Point )

The kuensel Phodrang welcomes you to Thimphu's charming town to a 51-meter-high gold-plated steel statue of Buddha Dordenma. The Buddha Point, which was the palace of the thirteenth Druk, Sherab Wangchuck, and housing the Shakyamuni Buddha, is also known as the Buddha Point. The statue was erected to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, as well as to fulfil two ancient prophesies from the 8th and 12th centuries, according to which a massive Buddha statue will be erected in the region to bring peace and happiness to the globe.

National Institute for Zorig Chusum

The National Institute for Zorig Chusum, popularly known as the painting school, not only maintains but also passes on traditional Bhutanese art to future generations. It's fascinating and motivating to watch young kids work with complete focus.

Paintings, woodcarvings, sculptures, and other mediums are used to teach students about their country's history and art. One of the best locations to visit in Thimphu is the National Institute for Zorig Chusum. Bhutanese people have preserved their art for decades, and now this institute educates younger generations about it.

At the National Textile Museum, visitors can learn about the differences in fabrics and weaving styles from one region to the next across the country. In terms of clothing and textiles, the National Textile Museum provides an insight into Bhutanese history. Traditional Bhutanese artefacts such as wedding gowns worn by prior kings and queens, traditional nomadic fabrics, and much more can be found.

Zangthopelri Lhakhang

Built on a hillock, in the heart of Phuentsholing is situated the Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to Guru Rinpoche,   the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. It is known to represent the celestial abode of the guru. It offers great views of the town and surrounding area. 

The temple is in Park, which has a lovely ambience. It is a social hub of Phuentsholing. Lovers flock to this spot for impromptu dates, tourists and monks walk around. Chants can be heard often. The park is well maintained and one can sit back and relax with a book and coffee. 

The small temple contains some fine examples of Buddhist drawings. The temple symbolizes the heaven as envisioned by Guru Rinpoche. The temple's floor has the huge paintings depicting life of Buddha. Another attraction of the temple are the statues of 8 manifestations of Guru Rinpoche.

Simply Bhutan is a one-of-a-kind project that attempts to preserve our culture and traditions while also providing career opportunities for young people. The infrastructure depicts traditional Bhutanese architecture that is vanishing due to modernity. The composition of the materials employed gives the construction its distinctiveness. Ancient timber, window and door frames, and other components from traditional and old demolished houses are used to construct the construction. The depiction of Bhutanese people's ancient life patterns is the best portion. Visitors can learn how to make arak, dress up in traditional garb, practice archery, and listen to songs sung by Bhutanese women while they construct rammed earth dwellings. It's a unique experience for the whole family.

Motithang Takin Preserve Centre

The Motithang Takin Preserve is a wildlife reserve protecting takin (Budorcas taxicolor), Bhutan's national animal. It is located in the Motithang district of Thimphu, Bhutan.Early dawn is the greatest time to see the takin up close, as they congregate along the fence to feed.. The most striking traits of this species are its enormous noses, large heads, and hefty torsos, which set it apart from others. The animal's origins are based on a mythological story with religious overtones.Drukpa Kunley, a prominent Buddhist yogi, is said to have created the animal with the body of a cow and the head of a cow, according to legend. This animal's migratory nature is one of its most notable characteristics.
